No.
Many students come alone.
We rotate partners during many group classes, but participation is always optional.
Private lessons require no partner because you'll dance with your instructor.
Not really.
Like any new skill it takes practice, but beginners usually learn enough in just a few lessons to start enjoying themselves.
Most beginners learn the basics in just a few lessons. As you continue dancing, you'll gradually build confidence, add new patterns, and become more comfortable on the dance floor.
Absolutely. Most of our students begin with no dance experience at all. Our lessons are designed to teach beginners one step at a time.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. There's no dress code, so just come dressed in something you feel comfortable dancing in. Most people just wear what they have on that day.
Comfortable shoes with a smooth sole work best. If you don't have dance shoes yet, that's perfectly okay—most beginners start with shoes they already own.
Not at all. Adults of all ages learn Salsa every year. Our instructors adjust the lessons to your experience, goals, and comfort level.
No. Rhythm is something you develop as you learn. We'll help you understand the music and timing so you can dance with confidence.
We offer private lessons, group classes, and introductory options for new students. Visit our online shop page or schedule a complimentary introductory session to find the option that's right for you.
