Help us capture the moments, memories, and people that make R&J Ballroom special!
Over the next eight weeks, we're inviting our students to take part in a community-wide photo project! Through fun photo activities and weekly bonus missions, we'll work together to capture the friendships, laughter, learning, dancing, and experiences that make our studio what it is.
Along the way, participants can earn individual rewards, contribute points toward exciting community rewards, and help us build a collection of photographs that we can use to share the R&J Ballroom experience with others.
The more you participate, the more you can earn—and the more we can accomplish together!
Every photo you submit as part of a completed activity helps us work toward something bigger!
Throughout the R&J Photo Project, students will earn Community Points by completing activities across all three tiers. These points are combined to help unlock special rewards and experiences for our entire participating community.
And there's even more to earn!
Each week, we'll announce a surprise Bonus Challenge on our Facebook page! These optional challenges are worth 10 Community Points each and give everyone additional opportunities to contribute.
Don't worry if you miss an announcement! Once a Bonus Challenge is revealed, you can complete it anytime before the project ends on January 10, 2027.

Each Community Campaign features a variety of fun activities designed to bring our community together, spread the joy of dance, and support R&J Ballroom. Participate in as many activities as you'd like, and watch your contributions add up!
Every project offers opportunities to earn special rewards for your participation! Complete all the activities within a tier to earn its reward. And don't stop there—you can complete multiple tiers and collect every reward available!
Your participation also earns points toward shared community goals. Everyone's points are combined, bringing us closer to unlocking special rewards and experiences we can enjoy together. The more we accomplish as a community, the more we unlock!
Important: Each photo must be unique, taken during the project dates, and not previously submitted for another activity or by another participant.
All submissions must be received by January 10, 2027.
Community Campaigns are special projects that bring our students together to have fun, support R&J Ballroom, and help spread the joy of dancing! Each campaign features activities to complete, individual rewards to earn, and community goals we can work toward together.
Submission instructions may vary depending on the project. Be sure to follow the instructions listed for the current campaign so your completed activities can be verified and counted.
For the R&J Photo Project, send all photos and videos directly to Jonathan through a private message on BAND. Include which activity or bonus mission you're submitting.
Not at all! You can participate in as many or as few activities as you'd like. You can also work on multiple tiers at the same time.
To earn a tier's individual reward, you'll need to complete all the activities within that tier. However, every completed activity still contributes Community Points, even if you don't finish an entire tier.
Absolutely! Each tier has its own reward, and you're welcome to complete all three tiers to earn all three rewards.
In fact, we encourage it! The more you participate, the more you can earn.
Community Points are earned by completing activities during a campaign. Everyone's points are combined into one shared total that helps us unlock special rewards for our community.
Each project has its own point values and reward milestones.
No! Community Points and individual rewards are two separate benefits of participating.
You earn individual rewards by completing all the activities within a tier. At the same time, your completed activities contribute Community Points toward our shared goals.
Community Rewards are special experiences and opportunities unlocked for participating students when our combined points reach certain milestones.
The exact rewards and participation details are announced as part of each project.
Yes. Each project has its own start and end dates, and activities must be completed within that timeframe unless otherwise specified.
For the R&J Photo Project, all photographs and videos must be taken between November 16, 2026, and January 10, 2027, and submitted by 11:59 PM on January 10.
Absolutely! Community Campaigns are an ongoing part of R&J Ballroom.
Each new project will bring different activities, opportunities to earn rewards, and new ways for our community to work together. Keep an eye on this page and our announcements for future campaigns!
No. Each photo or video submission must be unique and can only count toward one activity or bonus mission.
A photo also cannot be submitted again by another participant if it has already been used in the project.
No! Weekly Bonus Missions are completely optional.
Each mission earns 10 additional Community Points when completed. New missions are announced on our Facebook page each week, and previously announced missions remain available until the project ends.
Yes, as long as you have the photographer's permission to use them and the photos meet the activity requirements.
Remember, a photo can only be submitted once across the entire project, regardless of who submits it.
